Cedar House/Supportive Housing
Cedar House provides permanent housing for families living with HIV disease. Victory Programs offers case management and support services to the families residing in these units.
LARC/Residential Treatment
The Living and Recovering Community (LARC) is a structured 15 bed residential stabilization program for men and women with HIV/AIDS and histories of chronic addiction relapse. A LARC resident is typically homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to alcoholism, drug dependency, or HIV/AIDS. All LARC residents are fully integrated into a program of recovery.
New Victories/Residential Treatment
New Victories provides alcoholism and addiction treatment over a 4 to 8 month period to men with health issues such as HIV, a history of mental illness, or head injuries. By offering the chance to stop abusing drugs and alcohol, New Victories gives men the opportunity to consider a new way to plan more fulfilling and successful futures for themselves.
Portis Family House/Supportive Housing
The Portis Family House is a family reunification program which provides support for women and their children while they are participating in on-site addiction treatment parenting skills education and comprehensive direct care services. The program supports homeless families recovering from substance abuse and living with HIV/AIDS. Many of the children of the Portis Family House were previously placed in foster care because their mothers were unable to care for them because of addiction or illness.
Shepherd House/Residential Treatment
Shepherd House is a residential substance abuse treatment program for women. This six month program for women provides a bridge between treatment and reintegration into community living while learning to live drug and alcohol free.
The Bobbie White House/Supportive Housing
The Bobbie White House offers permanent, supportive sober and drug free housing to homeless men and women of culturally and racially diverse backgrounds who are recovering from addiction and are also living with HIV disease. The Bobbie White House is a community health networking project that unites the resources of the Boston Citywide Land Trust, the AIDS Action Committee, and Victory Programs.
The Wellness Program/Client Services
The Wellness Program is committed to helping the mind, body, and spirit recover from the ravages of addiction and to prepare for a life without drugs and alcohol. The Wellness Center offers services such as meditation, nutrition counseling, and massage therapy that help ease the pain and emotional stress that can accompany treatment for addiction and AIDS. In collaboration with the New England School of Acupuncture, the Wellness Center offers acupuncture to Victory Programs' clients as well as to people with HIV/AIDS from recovery treatment facilities throughout Boston.
Victory House/Residential Treatment
Victory House is a four to eight month residential substance abuse treatment program for men from all cultural backgrounds. Victory House has been committed to providing treatment to individuals who are severely physically or mentally impaired for 25 years. Victory House is a leader in serving clients with HIV infection and AIDS. No one is denied admission to Victory Programs because of these attending health problems or needs.
Victory Transitional House/Supportive Housing
Victory Transitional House is a supportive residential program designed to accommodate men living with both HIV disease and addiction.
VPI at MCI Framingham/Client Services
VPI at Massachusetts Correctional Institute at Framingham is a substance abuse treatment program providing counseling, education and support for women incarcerated at MCI Framingham and at Hodder House. The Center is a model of diversity, promoting multi-racial and multi-cultural sensitivity within the institutional environment.
VPI at MCI Lancaster/Client Services
VPI at Massachusetts Correctional Institute at Lancaster helps break the cycle of addiction and criminal behavior by working directly on-site in the correctional facility and teaches women skills to remain drug free once their sentence is completed.
Women's Hope Transitional Home/Supportive Housing
Women's Hope Transitional Home is a supportive community that accommodates women to prepare for reunification with their families/children. Special support and training for residents in the areas of parenting, household and financial management, violence prevention, and negotiating with the Department of Social Services are an integral aspect of this program.
Women's Hope/Residential Treatment
Women's Hope is a 14 to 28 day residential treatment program serving women with long and debilitating histories of drug and alcohol addiction, especially pregnant women and those who have been court ordered to undergo substance abuse treatment.
Yetman House/Supportive Housing
Yetman House offers housing to women who have successfully completed an alcohol and/or drug treatment program. Through case management and addiction recovery support from peers, the program seeks to empower each resident to maintain systems of support while preparing for independent living.
