DBCC will conduct workshops, seminars and provide consultation assistance for professionals, businesses, schools and the general public on communication and interpreting, accessibility and awareness of barriers and discrimination issues facing deafblind persons.
Information and Referral
DBCC can provide information and referral on a wide range of issues facing Deaf-Blind persons. Also, DBCC has a quarterly newsletter with articles and information about the Deaf-Blind Community.
Social and Recreation
Social/Recreation and Monthly activities led by Deaf-Blind persons enable them to make new friends, enhance communication and leadership skills and just have a good time!
Support Service Provider Opportunity
Support Service Providers (SSPs) have an opportunity to work with Deaf-Blind persons at social and recreational event. You can sign up for SSP Training with DBCC. The workshop is held twice a year. This is a good opportunity for interpreting students and the general public.
