By using CommunityRoom.net (the “Site”), you indicate your continued acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, then do not use this Site.

Eastern Bank maintains this Site as a complimentary service and convenience to its customers, potential customers and other interested parties. Eastern Bank may periodically add, remove or update the information and documents on the Site without notice to any party.
Use of the Site and Its Content
The information contained in the Site is for general guidance related to nonprofit organizations and charitable donation opportunities. Such information is provided on a blind-basis, without any knowledge of your identity or specific circumstances. The application and impact of relevant laws will vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. There may also be delays, omissions or inaccuracies in information contained in the Site. The information on the Site is provided with the understanding that it does not constitute the rendering by Eastern Bank of legal, accounting, tax, career or other professional advice or services. As such, information on the Site should not be relied upon or used as a substitute for consultation with professional advisors.
The Site allows you to both obtain information about, and donate to, nonprofit organizations registered and enrolled in CommunityRoom.net. If you make a donation to a nonprofit organization through the Site, you will be able to print a receipt acknowledging your contribution. This receipt shall not be considered sufficient for any tax reporting purpose, as such documentation will come from the nonprofit organization/donee receiving the donation.
Eastern Bank may alter, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time for any reasons, without notice or cost. The Site may become unavailable due to maintenance or malfunction of computer equipment or other reasons.
No part of the Site may be reproduced or transmitted in any form, by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying and recording, except that Eastern Bank authorizes you to view, copy, download, and print documents that are available on the Site, subject to the following conditions:
- The documents may be used solely for noncommercial, informational purposes.
- The documents may not be modified.
- Copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices may not be removed
Accuracy of Content and Future Modifications to the Site
The information on the Site is believed to be complete and reliable; however, the information may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Accordingly, all information and documents available on this Site are provided on an “as is” basis. You agree to use this Site at your own risk.

- a description of the copyrighted content that you claim has been infringed, including a copy of the copyrighted content;
- identification of the Site URL where the content that you claim is infringing is located;
- your address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;

Security
We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") encryption to transmit your personal registration information from your computer to ours across the Internet, and we restrict access to any transactional portions of the Site to computers running web browsers that support Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") protocol.
All information on this Site under the direct control of Eastern Bank is subject to its privacy and security standards.
No Warranties
INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS PROVIDED ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." SPECIFICALLY, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, EASTERN BANK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (i) THE INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS CORRECT, ACCURATE, RELIABLE OR COMPLETE; (ii) THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED ON THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR -FREE; (iii) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR (iv) THE SITE OR THE SERVER(S) THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Furthermore, Eastern Bank makes no warranty or representation as to the legal status or financial viability of any nonprofit partner using a hosted website through this Site When the Site is utilized in order to forward a financial donation to a nonprofit partner/donee, Eastern Bank makes no warranty or representation to any party as to the taxation consequences of such donation, including but not limited to the deductibility of the donation. For tax purposes, Eastern Bank recommends that you consult with your tax preparer or the nonprofit partner/donee to determine the deductibility of your contribution. Although Eastern Bank will convey a request for a donor’s anonymity to that particular nonprofit partner/donee, Eastern Bank makes no guarantee that the nonprofit partner/donee will maintain the anonymity of the donor. Eastern Bank has performed no due diligence investigations of any nature in regard to any nonprofit partner operating a hosted website.
Limitation of Liability
Eastern Bank provides the contents and use of the Site (including applications, text, graphics, links, tools, calculators and other resources) on an “as is” basis and your use of the Site is at your sole risk. In addition, we assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, or line or system failure. Eastern Bank makes no warranties or representations of any kind in connection with the use of the information or applications on the Site, their accuracy, adequacy, or completeness. To the extent permitted under applicable law, Eastern Bank disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Eastern Bank, its employees, officers or directors, be liable for any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, actual, direct, special, incidental, consequential, punitive or indirect damages, however caused, whether arising from breach of contract, negligence or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Eastern Bank from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and all costs and expenses of defense, including but not limited to, attorneys' fees, resulting directly or indirectly from a claim by a third party that is based on your use of the Site in violation of these terms.

The linked sites are not under the control of Eastern Bank. Eastern Bank is not responsible for the products and services, privacy policy, security or content available on such third-party sites. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Site or any information contained in the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions of Use, and not to access the Site or use materials or services available on the Site from territories where such access or use is illegal.
No Implied Endorsements
In no event shall any reference to any third party or third party product or service be construed as an approval or endorsement by Eastern Bank of that third party or of any product or service provided by a third party.
Jurisdictional Issues
Eastern Bank makes no representation that information on the Site is appropriate or available for use outside the United States. Those who choose to access the Site from outside the United States do so their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
Enforcement of Terms and Conditions
Use of the Site is governed by applicable federal laws of the United States of America and the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The courts sitting in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or relating to the contents or use of the Site.
All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use shall be finally resolved by arbitration conducted in the English language in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. under the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. The parties shall appoint as sole arbitrator a retired judge who presided in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The parties shall bear equally the cost of the arbitration (except that the prevailing party shall be entitled to an award of reasonable attorneys' fees incurred in connection with the arbitration in such an amount as may be determined by the arbitrator). All decisions of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. Notwithstanding this, application may be made to any court for a judicial acceptance of the award or order of enforcement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Eastern Bank shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief, security, or other equitable remedies from the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts or any other court of competent jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. Eastern Bank may, at its sole discretion and without notice, revise these terms at any time by updating this posting.
Modifications
Eastern Bank reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions of Use and modify the contents of the Site without notice to any party.
Entire Agreement
This is the entire Agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter herein.
